Every year, we take on a large number of work-study students who learn about our businesses, develop their skills and make a real contribution to our projects. Many continue the adventure with us, developing their skills and finding their place in a close-knit, committed team. We offer work-linked training contracts in a variety of fields (production, logistics, R&D, support functions, sales, etc.), from bachelor's degrees to Bac+5, via BTS or engineering schools.

I joined the company on a sandwich course in September 2022 as part of my master's degree in general engineering at Icam - Institut Catholique d'Arts et Métiers, and the Design Office team took me straight under its wing, helping me to develop my skills over the years. Management put their trust in me and gave me the chance to spend 2 periods of 3 months each with our American subsidiary. This enabled me to cultivate my ambitions, to grow and to gain in confidence as the assignments progressed. It's an exceptional opportunity for a young engineer!

After graduating from engineering school, I joined Fonroche as an end-of-studies trainee. I worked on dimensioning and lighting studies for customer projects, while helping to update and develop tools and new projects with the rest of the team. The other Fonroche employees have always made themselves available to answer my questions, and thanks to that I've been able to explore more of the technical side of our products. I renewed my position in the design office with a fixed-term contract, and was then offered the chance to join the innovation department. I was able to contribute to the launch of new projects thanks to my knowledge of the design office, and with the help of the company's experts, I was able to deepen my theoretical knowledge of the technologies used in solar lighting. More recently, I was transferred to R&D in the battery systems division, where I'll be able to develop my technical expertise in all aspects of energy management over the coming months. In three years, thanks to Fonroche, I've acquired precise and in-depth technical knowledge, which has enabled me to develop my skills considerably.
