The Opportunity 🚀

We are looking for a Lighting Design & Warehouse Specialist to join our team in Turin, Italy.

The position combines two key areas of responsibility: technical lighting design and photometric studies, supporting the sales and project teams, and the management of the local warehouse and inventory.

The successful candidate will have a technical background, preferably in lighting engineering, electrical engineering, architectural lighting design or a related field, together with strong organisational and operational skills.

The role is particularly suited to a proactive, autonomous and hands-on person who is comfortable working both on technical projects and on operational warehouse activities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Lighting Design & Photometric Studies

• Carry out photometric and lighting studies for solar public lighting projects.

• Analyse project requirements, technical specifications and applicable lighting standards.

• Develop lighting layouts and simulations using dedicated lighting design software.

• Prepare and optimise lighting solutions according to road classification, pedestrian areas, public spaces, car parks and other outdoor applications.

• Produce technical documentation, including photometric calculations, lighting layouts, technical reports and project documentation.

• Support the Sales team during the technical development of projects and tenders.

• Review and validate lighting proposals to ensure compliance with applicable standards and customer requirements.

• Liaise with customers, municipalities, engineers, architects and external technical consultants when required.

• Provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle, from initial feasibility studies through to project implementation.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the company's lighting design tools, methodologies and technical documentation.

2. Warehouse & Inventory Management

• Take responsibility for the day-to-day management of the Turin warehouse.

• Receive, check and organise incoming goods and materials.

• Manage the storage, identification and organisation of products, components and spare parts.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records.

• Monitor stock levels and identify discrepancies or potential shortages.

• Perform regular physical inventory checks and reconcile physical stock with system records.

• Manage incoming and outgoing shipments in coordination with the Logistics team and headquarters.

• Prepare products and components for customer deliveries, installations and technical activities.

• Ensure that warehouse operations comply with company procedures and safety requirements.

• Coordinate with the French headquarters and logistics department regarding stock movements, replenishment and shipments.

• Maintain an organised, clean and efficient warehouse environment.

• Identify opportunities to improve warehouse organisation, stock control and logistics processes.

3. Cross-functional Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Sales, Technical, Logistics and After-Sales teams.

• Act as a local technical reference for lighting design and photometric studies.

• Support the Italy team in the preparation of customer presentations, technical proposals and project documentation.

• Coordinate with the French headquarters to ensure consistency with Group procedures, technical standards and inventory management processes.

• Contribute to the development of the Turin hub and the organisation of local operational activities.

What you can bring to us 🙌

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Lighting Engineering, Architecture, Building Engineering or a related technical discipline.

• Previous experience in lighting design, photometric studies, electrical design or outdoor lighting is preferred.

• Knowledge of lighting standards and regulations, particularly UNI EN 13201 and UNI 11248, is considered a strong advantage.

• Experience with lighting design and photometric software such as DIALux / DIALux evo is preferred.

• Good knowledge of AutoCAD or similar technical drawing software is an advantage.

• Previous experience in warehouse, inventory or logistics management is preferred.

• Good IT skills and confidence working with Excel and inventory management systems.

• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and documentation.

• Fluent Italian and good English communication skills are required. French is considered a plus.
